The Public Relations Committee is responsible for promoting FUUSA and its events to the larger community outside FUUSA. This includes providing information to the general public and the media about our congregation, and about Unitarian Universalist philosophy and beliefs in general. In addition, the committee helps to form responses to inquiries received from the media.

Members of the PR Committee can select from a number of activities to work on:

• maintaining and enhancing the new web site introduced in 2007;
• taking on technical and/or editorial assignments;
• helping alert media to FUUSA events by assisting with the development and dissemination of information to the media; and
• assisting with writing and editing press releases, articles, and the brochures of other committees.
